Check your exact model, year and original part number. This is an aftermarket replacement kit, not a genuine Suzuki-branded part. Earlier 2000–2005 GSX-R models require a different stator.

Stator assembly
Replacement stator with attached wiring, electrical plug and rubber grommet. The source kit includes the connector components pictured.
Generator cover gasket
A matching cover gasket is included so you can plan the cover removal and resealing together with the electrical repair.
A regulator/rectifier, rotor, generator cover and fitting labour are not included. Diagnose the charging fault before replacing components.
03 / Before installation
Confirm the fault. Check the connections.
Inspect the battery, stator output, regulator/rectifier and wiring before fitting. Heat-damaged or corroded connectors need attention as part of the repair. Follow the workshop manual for your exact model for torque settings, cable routing, sealing and charging-system checks.

GSX-R stator kit questions.
Does this include a regulator/rectifier?
No. This is a stator-and-cover-gasket kit. A regulator/rectifier is a separate component.
Will it fit a 2005 GSX-R?
No. This listing starts at 2006. Match the earlier model to its own stator listing.
Will a new stator fix a flat battery?
Only if the stator is the diagnosed fault. Check the battery, charging circuit and regulator/rectifier first.
